Welcome!

I am Hailey Hennigan, lover of spending time with my family and friends, teaching and learning with the best students in the world, and a good cup of coffee! For the past two years I taught first grade, but I am thrilled to be in third grade this year! I look forward to all the exciting challenges and fun learning that this year holds for us!

Welcome to third grade! This year is going to be fast-paced and full of exciting new material. We will spend lots of time building our math skills (strengthening our adding and subtracting fluency, growing in our multiplication skills, and much more). We will also grow our love of reading in a variety of ways. I am so excited to jump into our reading this year, as we will dive into some wonderful novels along the way. What I look forward to most about third grade and this year with you is growing in our knowledge of our history and the world around us (through a variety of science and social studies skills). We have a lot to be excited about!
